Among these, Abraham Pater Multarem Gentium (Genesis 12:1F) stands as a profound visual meditation on faith, obedience, and the pivotal moment when God commands Abraham to leave his homeland. This artwork captures the tension between the known and the unknown, rendered in Dalí's signature blend of meticulous draftsmanship and dreamlike symbolism.

Dalí's Biblia Sacra was commissioned by Giuseppe Albaretto, a close friend and patron, and published by Rizzoli in 1967. The series comprises 105 lithographs, each interpreting a verse from the Latin Vulgate Bible. For this image, Dalí draws from Genesis 12:1: 'Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee.' The title 'Pater Multarem Gentium' means 'Father of Many Nations,' foreshadowing God's covenant with Abraham. Dalí's composition is both intimate and cosmic, depicting Abraham as a lone figure amidst a surreal landscape, with symbolic elements that echo the artist's fascination with the sacred and the profane.

This fine art print is a museum-quality reproduction, crafted with meticulous attention to detail. The canvas material, a cotton-polyester blend (300-350gsm, 350-400 microns), is responsibly sourced and FSC-certified, ensuring both durability and environmental stewardship. The enhanced texture of the canvas brings out the subtle nuances of Dalí's lines, creating an immersive experience that mirrors the original lithograph's depth and complexity. The print is mounted on 2cm thick FSC-certified wood stretcher bars, providing a sturdy and warp-resistant foundation. Available in four sizes, each piece comes with a hanging kit (varies by country), ready to adorn your space with surrealist grandeur.

Why This Dalí Masterpiece Belongs in Your Collection

Historical Significance: Part of Dalí's celebrated Biblia Sacra, a landmark series that redefined religious art in the 20th century.

Artistic Brilliance: Showcases Dalí's unique ability to fuse classical draftsmanship with surrealist imagination.

Archival Quality: Printed on premium canvas with fade-resistant inks, ensuring longevity and vibrancy.

Ready to Hang: Comes with a hanging kit, making it easy to elevate your home or office instantly.

Ethically Produced: Responsibly sourced materials and print-on-demand production minimize waste.

Whether you are a seasoned collector of Salvador Dalí canvas prints or a newcomer to surrealism, this reproduction offers an accessible yet authentic way to engage with the artist's legacy.
